Someone told me about this spot where you can hear your own echo, and I didnt think much of it until as we took a shortcut I looked down and there it was. I tested it out and no one believed me until they tried too and got an echo. Fun and free!

Very interesting acoustics here. In front of the Tulsa Depot Art Deco styled building. Vandals keep taking bricks from here. Our first time we asked locals how to get here and they didn't know. I think it is a little uncommon. Kids like it.
A fun place to bring kids to experience a weird phenomena. It's a bit hard to find, and it only takes a couple of minutes once you're there, but it's a find side trip while you're in downtown Tulsa.

The Center of the Universe has its place in "quirky attractions." It almost feels like a tourist attraction one would find in Branson, Missouri. The "Center" is a medallion in the middle of a bridge in downtown Tulsa...near the Jazz Hall of Fame. Stand on it, say something...and it comes bouncing back to you. So, doing that on a ledge... 更多
We were informed by everyone that we needed to see it. It is NOT adequately signed and was hard to locate. It was interesting; however, wouldn't go back.
Super .. Well designed.. still the engineers who did should not be forgotten. .. Since it is going strong, If someone loves history, discovery channel, History Channel, Architecture this is the way to go..
