The collections at Philbrook are unparalleled in Oklahoma. If you're in Tulsa, stop by and see a unique museum. Staff is very child friendly, the courses and after hours programs are amazing. Philbrook is the pinnacle of what a museum should be.
This is a great museum. I was very pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the facility was, as well as the art. The museum itself is inside an old mansion, and much of the art was collected by the original owners of the mansion. The museum is also surrounded by beautiful grounds. This is a must see for anyone visiting Tulsa.
Was really good, but very expensive. It was fairly family friendly for a fine dining experience. Views are gorgeous. Food was typical brunch food. Good, but I wouldn't rave about it.
The impressive part of our visit was the incredible building in which it is housed-an oil Barron's home from the 1940's.Would have loved to have attended a party back in the day. They do have traveling shows which are the reason to visit-check online to see what's up Your ticket also allows you same day visit to the downtown branch... 更多
This is by far my favorite museum in Tulsa. The art is well above what you would expect to see in Oklahoma (thanks old oil money!) We've been members for years and love to picnic on the grounds or just take a nice stroll and let the kids run through the sculptures. There are monthly activities for kids too making... 更多
In addition to the permanent art collections, including a wonderful Native American collection, there are always visiting exhibits well worth seeing. The grounds are beautiful in every season and are a good place for finding birds if one is so inclined. There are classes and fun events such as The Festival of the Trees at Christmas time, which also features... 更多
The museum is a beautifully remodeled old home with a very well curated collection of diverse art. They have pieces spanning hundreds of years and several different media. The staff are friendly and the gardens are amazing.
The citizens of Tulsa have a bargain with Philbrook. You have interesting architecture in the original home, good art, and fantastic gardens to visit in the back of the house. Doesn't take that long to do much of the museum, but worth it.
The grounds are gorgeous and the site is full of history. The building itself is a pleasure to behold and the collections are quite good. Nice to relax on the lawns with the kids or just enjoy the sunshine. Also, kids programs and 'second saturdays'.. do a little research and plan your trip according to your interests. Well worth the... 更多
The Philbrook museum used to be someone's mansion. It just a gorgeous spot altogether. But what really drives us to visit it year after year is the gardens. You can't miss a walk through them! That being said, plan your visit for spring or summer when they'll be fresh and green. It is $10 to get in but they have... 更多
Was amazed that I had never been to the museum before now! Lol Was very beautiful and well kept. Artwork was amazing and gardens were incredible. Would recommend this to anyone.
Philbrook is a 1926 oil baron's home he dedicated to the people of Tulas to serve as an art museum. It has grown over the years and now shows a broad spectrum of tongs and sculpture. Mall enough to be seen in one trip, it is rich enough to go ,any times. Be sure to save time to see the... 更多
The grounds are lovely and nice for a stroll when the weather cooperates. The museum itself is nice and just enough without going overboard. The mansion/house that this museum is in is beautiful and fun to tour just as it is.
There were a few nice pieces but overall the exhibits were weak. Bear in mind, however, I am form New York and frequent its museums. The buildig itself is stunning. The gardens however were lovely - a wonderful place to sit on a nice day.
