Building wasn't very big so we didn't know what to expect. Wow we're we surprised. Two stories of very nicely displayed skeletons. There skeletons of everything. Great displays. Everything from tiny birds to giant whale. This is a must see.
We kept seeing advertisements for this museum on the freeway and at the mall. Deciding that we really ought to check it out before moving away from the area, we made a point to head over there one Saturday. There are undoubtedly a lot of skeletons to look at and some that you can touch. In that respect, it's a... 更多
Was a very interesting exibit. The exibit has a big whale and other big skeletons hanging from the ceiling. Must have been painstaking work vetting the snake skeleton put together
My 8 year old daughter had a lot of fun learning and reading about the many types of skeletons they have. I was expecting it to be a slightly larger building but was definitely not disappointed. It is a great learning experience for all ages.
My 10 year old grandson has had two birthday parties here. He and all of the kids he invited loved looking at all of the exhibits and most gained some knowledge while having a great time. They have separate rooms to have parties in and an excellent staff. They have various bones and skulls in the room and the staff... 更多
It was fun and interesting! It is a small building but it takes time to go and look and all the bones. Also there is a scavenger hunt so you can also learn about what is in there. The scavenger hunts are from 9-12 13-17 18- and up so everyone can have fun!
Best museum we've been to in quite some time. Under $7 per adult. Huge collections of skeletons, displayed in groups. Allow a couple hours to browse. As good or better than other famous museum collections we've ever seen.
I travel solo most times since I travel so much for work and I went to the museum since it was raining and I couldn't go to the zoo. I was actually super happy I came here! There were several exhibits to see and it was very interesting and great for learning new things. I really enjoyed the areas that... 更多
So much fun. Never been to another museum quite like. Excellent for families. Just don't get sucked into the gift shop. Otherwise this was very fun and informative
Great place to take kids. There are lots of skeletons, with some humor infused into the displays. Not your typical natural history museum stuff.
We took my son here when he was 1 1/2 and it was a good size museum for his attention span. There was a lot of interesting information about each animal as well as the cleaning and preservation process of the bones so you could stay there a couple of hours if you wanted.
We enjoyed walking through and completing the adult scavenger hunt here (available upon entry). It's a whole new perspective on structure when it comes to animals. We really liked the exhibits that showed both the skeletal and taxidermy view of common animals. They have a decent gift shop, though the penny machine was in need of repair. The man at... 更多
Our two young grandsons loved everything about their visit and now know more about osteology than any child in their classes. What an incredible way to entertain them and give them something of great value at the same time!
The building looks quite small on the outside, but it took us about 2 hours to look through all of the displays. It was very interesting to my 6th and 7th grade kids. The admission was very minimal compared to most museums, so this was well worth it!
We expected very little, but really enjoyed ourselves. My two teen girls spent twice as much time viewing the skeletons as I expected. This was worth the stop for us. Just don't expect too much and you'll enjoy it too.
