The Bill Mauldin cartoon collection is here as well as military artifacts. Don't let the small building fool you; by the time you are finished it will feel like you have been to a museum three times its size. You will particularly enjoy the Bill Mauldin collection of cartoons from WWII even if you are too young to remember who... 更多
We recently visited the 45th Infantry Division Museum. What a great museum, so much to see. It is dedicated to Military History and has wonderful exhibits from various wars, the Spanish exploration to the present time. There is also an outdoor area which displays many military vehicles, weapons and aircraft. Admission and parking is free, they do appreciate donations to... 更多
This is by far one of the best military museums I have ever be to, including those in the DC area. It is a small-ish museum, but it has items representing everything from George Washington to a good Holocaust WWII exhibit.
The items on display both inside and out were pretty helter-skelter. Enjoyed walking around the big equipment, helicopters, tanks, planes, trucks and guns outside. But not grouped by year of service. Inside almost totally ignores Vietnam. And again, there seems to be no organization. But the price is 0, so who could complain?
My whole crew loved this stop. I am so glad we took the time to check this out. It was super informative, clear, clean and very well organized. The whole thing is free!! Great inside and out. I also appreciated the passionate, articulate gentleman who greeted us and treated us to an overview of the history of the museum. What... 更多

Why haven't I visited this place before?! Wonderful museum! It's free and tons of things to look at inside and outside. My husband and I took our 6 and 3 year old and they kept saying how much they liked it after we left. There is a little gift shop with good prices. My favorite part of the museum was... 更多
This place has all kinds of planes, tanks, howitizers, half-tracks etc surrounding the museum that you can walk around and look at up close and personal. Veterans volunteer as guides and are very kind and knowledgeable. The museum contains interesting items including Hitler's mirror that the 45th division had seized. And it is all FREE!!!
