I've been going to Sam Noble Museum since 1975, even before they moved to their new facility. It is remarkable to have this quality of museum in your own backyard. The dinosaur displays are remarkable with some of the specimen being largest specimens of their species. Many of the exhibits are interactive and give your children an opportunity explore the... 更多

The rest of the museum... 更多
I took my kids (ages 15 and 6) because I knew my 6-year-old would absolutely LOVE seeing the dinosaur, but I was unprepared for how much I loved it also! Super informative, the dinosaur fossils are up close and personal, and I also really loved the exhibit on the Native people of Oklahoma.
I visited this museum with my sister who lives in the area. They offer free visits if you are a military veteran which I am. We spent 3 hours reading and looking at all the displays. The dinosaur exhibits were fascinating and we were told by one of the museum volunteers that the majority of exhibits were from archaeological digs... 更多
A lovely museum with so much to do. The museum itself was very clean and well maintained. The exibits were large and there was something to interest everyone. Whether it was the giant dino skeletons or earthquake simulator there's something for everyone here. A large gift shop with very friendly staff and reasonable prices.
The Sam Noble Museum of Natural history is a must see if you are in Norman Oklahoma or passing thru Norman. The museum is located on the south campus of the University of Oklahoma... just across the street from Barry Switzer's house. The museum is great for kids and for adults with all of the exhibits and the traveling gallery.... 更多
We are supporting members of this excellent community resource. Educational opportunities for all ages. Audubon Society also meets here on the second Thursday of the month during the fall and winter months. They also have a wonderful gift store which provides wonderful Christmas gifts for friends and family. Try it you'll like it.
