We went to the N.W. part of Oklahoma to visit 4 state parks in 1 weekend. We stayed in Woodward and did Boiling Springs (quickest visit depending on how long you hike around) in under an hour. I probably saw 50+ frogs jumping into the stream as I walked the trail. It is free and definitely worth the visit. I enjoyed the overlook on to the lake and seeing the birds. This is definitely worth future trips.
Enjoyed hiking trails, fishing ponds and a drive through of the Refuge. While hiking the level are for beginners, my husband and I had a good time with 2 young boys. We were able to see a variety of birds, deer, turtles and lizards!
