My husband and I stopped here before going to Raven's Glenn winery across the road. Saw many advertisements for this place so decided to check it out. It did have some fun things to look at but not enough to make it a "destination" visit.
Before parting ways our extended family needed a place to eat, we chose this place close to I-77. The memorilbilia inside was fascinating for all ages to view. I had my expectations set too high I guess. I really thought that there would be a lot of different stores in each car, but there was one car and only canned items, candy and a little bit of antiques.
This place would be so much nicer if they had more little shops. The train station that it is housed in is pretty cool and it has many cheeses and candies for sale.
Lots of selection of jams, spices, and other jarred items plus candy and items to bake with. The "Diner" didn't feel much like a diner as it is just stuck in the back of the store with some decoration that didn't help it feel much like a 50's diner. The food was just average. I could spend all day in this place. There are so many cool things to buy. Jarred items (relishes, pickled veggies, jams, etc.) plus a rack of spicy sauces (amazing variety, and hilarious).
