When in Southwest OH, visit Caesar Creek Lake near Waynesville, OH. Try one of the restaurants such as the Cobblestone Cafe'. Enjoy the trails, boat launch, and especially the welcome center where you can read about the history, wildlife, and plants of the area. Stand behind the "Ranger Rick" with your head through the hole and photograph yourself looking like... 更多
My family boats on Caesar Creek Lake whenever we get the chance! The lake is a nice size and offers plenty of coves for anchoring to swim and plenty of open area for skiing and tubing. There are several ramps, and the one we use is fairly large, as 4 boats/jet skis can be lowered in at one time. They... 更多
The campground was clean, but run-down. The camping spots are very small (I had to unhitch and park my truck crossways, and my trailer is less than 28') and close together.
Took some jet skis here to have fun with kids. Riding around was fun but getting them in and out of water at boat ramp was a nightmare. There was a line, as usual, and the people are complete idiots who struggle to get in and out without running into other people's boats/pwc. Rangers drive by ramps constantly looking around... 更多
I've been going to Caesar Creek for years and it always has great hiking. There's a good variety of flora and fauna in different parts of the park, from the lake to flat fields to the hills around the lake.
The lake was clean. It was busy as it was Labor Day weekend, but there was plenty of room for everyone and even spots to stop off by yourself. They have a jetski only ramp which is really nice because it doesn't hold up the process for all the boats. We will be back
Beautiful campground. Had a large site. Very clean. However, the showers in the bathhouse were in pretty bad condition. Very small, peeling paint, door locks didn't work, no bench in one of 3 stalls and when you pushed the button for water it wouldn't stay running. But other than that, we had a nice stay. Never saw a park ranger... 更多
I have been going to Caesar Creek for years. It is probably one of my favorite state parks in Ohio. There are great hiking trails. One of my favorites is the "Big Six Miler" as we call it. It starts in the parking lot across from the beach entrance called Furnas Shores Boat Ramp and it goes to the Visitor... 更多
Our family parked at pioneer village and hiked the 1.5 miles to Horseshoe falls. Very scenic, muddy (from all recent rain) and don't forget your bug spray This state park has lots of trails, mini waterfall, lake, boat landing and camping. We will be back for beach
Our campsite was beautiful and quiet even though it was a holiday weekend. However, the shower house leaves much to be desired. Caught a large mouth bass but there is limited shore fishing.
