I visit my daughter in Ohio who took me to Brandy Falls on a Sunday afternoon with my two young grandchildren. The kids loved hiking around and playing in the streams coming off the beautiful falls. Everything was so lush and green. So many variety of birds and wild flowers. This year the 17 year cicadas were out (picture attached)... 更多
I stopped here on my way from Louisiana to Canada (to stretch my legs.) I only wish I'd had more time to explore more of Cuyahoga Valley Nat'l Park, but I digress... Parking may be tricky (it was pretty full when I arrived on a Friday afternoon.) There are bathrooms adjacent to the parking lot, and the walk to the... 更多
My friends and I camped in Cuyoga State Park, woke up, walked 1.5 to the falls, and then hit the road. It was a great place to stretch our legs, breathe fresh air, learn a little history, and see picturesque views - all without a lot of tourists around. It's a beautiful part of the country and well worth a... 更多
I got up early, followed my gps to find the falls, and made it there in no time. I went about 7:00 am and had the place to myself. I followed the boardwalk down to the falls, and then around to the top of the falls. Peaceful, beautiful, and a relatively easy walk. There are a lot of steps (120+-)... 更多
Definitely worthwhile to see. The falls are a very short walk (on a boardwalk) from the parking lot. Several vantage points to view from. A great looking bike trail is here as well, so bring your bike if you would like. Only negative? Their bathrooms are 'recycling facilities', which stink to high heaven. Go before you go!
What a lovely spot. So much beauty, it's hard to imagine it's so close; almost as close as your backyard. Luscious foliage. So much to see besides just the falls. Easy access as it is wood covered, like walking on a boardwalk. Serene, peaceful. It's a must see!
