I have been to the midland many times. Review the schedule and pick your favorite..hang on to your hat, it will be entertaining..good service..and a clean environment.
Beautifully restored theatre with great seating and wonderful acoustics. Perhaps the friendliest, most helpful staff of volunteers that you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. Just visiting with them before the show was every bit as enjoyable as the show itself.
This theater holds about 1,800 people. Seats are typically tight, since the facility was built around 100 years ago. The restoration- perfect. It is easy to get there, easy to leave, a few nice restaurants within a two minute walk to the hall. You will have a great night- check out the events coming up!
Recently attended the Lyle Lovett/Robert Earl Keen concert. The venue continues to impress as a great place to see live music The restoration is a work of art and this was the first show with the speakers suspended and no longer on the stage. Lyle even mentioned the beauty of the restoration! My only recommendation - if you are taller... 更多
We have been to the Midland several times (this time for Lyle Lovett/Robert Earl Keen) and have always had a great time. It is small enough to be cozy, parking is free and convenient - glad the community decided to restore this place and bring interesting acts. Worth the drive over to Newark!
The Midland Theatre in Newark, Ohio; is a fabulous theatre for concerts, plays and shows. It is a very beautiful theatre. There are no bad seats in the theatre. We have been to several concerts and shows at this theatre and have never been disappointed. There are many places to eat nearby in order to have an evening out (dinner... 更多
We have seen several shows here. It is a very nicely restored old theater. The sound is not quite top quality but good enough. Seats allow more room than the Palace or Ohio Theater in Columbus. Wish they had more shows each season. Very convenient to get to!
Attended my first concert at the Midland. Great, smaller, older theater. We sat in the balcony and the acoustics were fine for Keb' Mo'. The seats are what you would expect and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you see something scheduled, don't hesitate to attend!
