My wife and I biked the entire trail from fredericksburg to killbuck. This is one of our favorite trails to bike. This is our 4th time here. This is a shared trail with amish buggies and other horse drawn vehicles. One side is meant for horses only and some of the bridge crossings its only one lane. Mostly flat with... 更多
My wife and I bicycled this trail from Millersburg to Fredericksburg (about 20 miles round trip). The trail is all asphalt and basically flat. It was an easy ride with lots of nice scenery. There are facilities at Millersburg, Holmesville and Fredrickburg, so you're never far from a rest room. This trail is typically 16 feet wide, with half of... 更多
The paved trail is great! You can run, bike or walk on the portion we were on last week. Amish buggies ride by; they are only allowed on one side of the trail. It was very flat, so if anyone has issues with climbing etc., they should not find this trail to be difficult at all. We started in Millersburg... 更多
I love this trail! It is easily accessible and goes on for miles and miles. It gets you away from the hectic world we live and and provides peace! A must visit for Holmes County!
Love this trail. My wife and I have been here twice. Both times riding our bicycles from millersburg to fredericksburg. 10 miles one way. Each time we were not disappointed. Plenty of wildlife to see and even though this is an old railroad it is not boring at all. Mostly flat with gradual grades along with plenty of shade. It... 更多
If you want to break away and have a good time try the bike trail. Safe, beautiful, and interesting. You will get your exercise for the week, and you will get a nature experience. Wide trail for bikes. Do not use racing tires on the bike. The path was rough in spots. You will see Amish with their cart and... 更多
What a great use of unused railway property that provides a wonderfully maintained thoroughfare for all types of travel (no motor vehicles). One side of the path is for walkers, bikers, rollerblading, and the other side is meant for horse drawn buggies. We picked an unusually warm day to walk 5 miles of the path starting in Millersburg going south... 更多
A leisurely stroll and you feel like you are in the deep woods in places! Along comes an Amish buggy or a person with inline skates, or bikers along with hikers. Come on a festival time and you'll enjoy getting geared up to do a 3K or a 5K running race! It's lovely to walk this trail and if you... 更多
This Rails to Trails bike path is a very nice route with nice blacktop surface shared with horse and buggy traffic in Holmes County. There is a nice canopy of trees covering the path and nice stops along the way if desired. We rode the section from Millersburg to Fredricksburg and will be sure to return.
Paved hiking or biking trail under trees and share the path with horses and buggies-can't get more relaxing than this! We walked this time, but want to go back soon and take our bikes and explore a longer stretch. Quiet, peaceful walk and a great way to experience Ohio Amish country.
