Walked to the top of Marblehead Lighthouse and the view is beautiful. You buy tickets for a specific time but we went on a weekday and the wait was only 15 minutes. The crowd on the top is controlled this way. Well worth the climb to the top.
I have been visiting this lighthouse for 50 plus years! Make sure you visit the small museums on the property and the gift shop! There are picnic tables but no grills. If you collect smashed pennies they have a machine! Beautiful place to take photos with a lake view of Cedar Point and Kelly's Island . Tour hours are somewhat... 更多
This is a charming place to visit. There are 3 main sights in the park (other than the views of the lake!): the lighthouse itself, a museum in the former residence of the lighthouse-keeper, and a replica of a lifesaving station that used to protect the area, complete with a restored lifesaving boat. Climbing the 77 steps to the top... 更多
We did not get there in time to go inside the museum and not sure if people are allowed in the lighthouse. It is a very pretty area, though, right on Lake Erie.

It is also the oldest lighthouse being in continuous operation since 1822. The light flashes a... 更多
Stopped here on a whim as in the area for another reason. Easy to find and park. Did not climb up to the lighthouse but water was pretty and calming and big rocks to sit on and look out at the water or cedar point across the way. The kids liked seeing fossils in the big rocks, i liked how... 更多
We visited this historic site over the July 4 weekend. The weather was perfect, and even if it isn't the view over the lake is terrific, and the lighthouse and nearby museums are good for whiling away an hour or so. Space inside the lighthouse is necessarily restricted and parties are allowed in limited numbers. Parking is limited. We had... 更多
