We went to the Cox park for the butterfly house. The park was not what we expected; it exceeded our expectations. So much landscaping detail has gone into this park. From the rock bridges to the many varieties of trees on the grounds. The butterfly house was pretty neat, although it did not have as many butterflies as other butterfly... 更多

The trails are a bit windy and it's possible to feel lost for a bit, but you see lots of trees and there are nice fish and turtles to try to spot. It's free and dog-free, and there are informative signs about taking care of trees that you can read or not. It's quite pretty.

Beautiful park, visited on a quick weekend trip to Dayton. Beautiful flowers and some excellent walking trails, both fully paved as well as more primitive nature trails. Will be a go to destination when in the area.

Whether it's a cloudy day or a sunny day there are miles of beautiful flowers and trees to observe. The park atmosphere has many places to sit and watch what is around you. The grandkids liked the tree house and walking the trails. Then they liked watching the huge goldfish and turtles in the pond/lake. Will definitely go back.

Fun place to take friends, family & kids if looking for something to do outside. Doesn't cost anything to get in. Beautiful gardens to walk thru, nice & relaxing. Room to play ball & run around. Mazes & other fun activities for kids. Can hike thru woods as well for those who enjoy a little more exercise.

Has some ponds and saw red ear sliders (neat cuz have my own at home) and snapper turtles. Has a "tree house" you can climb and has great view. Has... 更多

I love the Cox Arboretum. They offer classes on all sorts of gardening, from planting a fairy garden to how to prune like an expert. Of course the gardens are gorgeous, and a great family place.

This park is much bigger than it looks. The front section houses beautiful gardens, ponds, and great picture spots. There's lots of activities for kids. The back has long hiking trails. The butterfly house is great, if you go at the right time!

We hadn't visited in over 20 years. They have done wonderful things with the space. Everything is blooming and the smells of different flowering plants was so fragrant. We stopped and talked with several of the people working there and they where friendly as informative. The ponds have turtles and fish and an occasional duck. They have a passport book... 更多
