We loved our recent visit to bald rock. We took the roundabout route to the summit, but saw all age groups tackling the direct climb up the rock. You just feel on top the world when you reach the summit.. Who needs to climb Uluru when this is freely accessible.
We climbed Bald Rock and Little Bald Rock. Both are outstanding with great views from the top. Signposting is excellent on the way up Bald Rock ( we went the long way around), with interesting boulders and scenery on the way up. The Little Bald Rock walk is not as interesting but if you find your way around to climb... 更多
Bald really is beautiful in Bald Rock National Park. Against my better judgement we decided to do the steep climb to the top, and so glad we did. We came down via the meandering path, and I think if you went this way up it would seem to be a (gentle) climb forever. The views at the top are breathtaking... 更多

Up the East face which is the short but STEEP climb and well worth it if you are reasonably fit. The other way is the path on the left fork which... 更多
Really enjoyed our visit to Bald Rock National Park, picnic area and amenities are well maintained and clean. The climb up bald Rock is not for the faint hearted, but well worth the effort. Lots of waterfalls and other interesting points of interest to admire.
After climbing the Pyramids at Girraween NP last year we were aiming for climbing Bald Rock as we were back in the Granite Belt area. We followed advise from Trip Advisor contributors and climbed the steep part first; then we did the Summit and after that the bush walk down. It was so enjoyable! And funny enough; it was easier... 更多
A beautiful part of the surrounding countryside. Take a picnic and take your walking shoes if you want to walk up this rock. Toilets are basic but clean.
This place is absolutely amazing. We climbed up the rock face and was incredible easy it's surface has a lot of grip so it's more like a walk with some inclination. The view it absolutely amazing up the top. We took "the long way down" and it packed with beautiful vegetation. Highly recommended good for young and old
