I didn't look at the reviews until after I'd already done the tour. I was quite surprised to see so many rave reviews. I'm not upset I did this tour, but I'm not in a rush to do it again or recommend it to my friends. The actual walk itself through the Sassafrass Gully is stunning, but it wouldn't be... 更多

When I was on the train heading toward our meeting poiint, I saw a guy get on with a well-worn backpack and well-fit hat. I thought 'he looks interesting.' At the next stop, we both got off and he introduced himself as my guide. I've done a few aboriginal-content tours and his was by far the best so far. Evan... 更多

An intriguing day out, and very thought prevoking. Evan certainly appeared to know about all the edible plants, their medicinal properties, and how Mother Earth and Father Sky fitted into the great equation of life. Came away feeling at peace with the world. The walk wasn't for those with any disabilities as it meandered not on footpaths but through woodlands... 更多

We booked this tour in low season and Evan ended up doing it for only two of us. It was surprisingly spiritual and informative. Evan taught us about aboriginal folklore, origin stories and way of life garnished with actual scientific facts. And you go deeper into the bush than any tourist should ever venture by himself. I think neither of... 更多

I am from Sydney and have been to the Mountains many, many times and completed dozens of bushwalks, and the Blue Mountains Walkabout was something totally different and unique. The walk itself was tricky as it had been raining lightly overnight and the downhill parts were slippery, I would say you need to have good balance in order to complete... 更多

I am on my first visit to Australia and wanted to get a glimpse of the ways of the people who lived here first. If you have similar intentions, there could be no better choice than this tour. Evan, our tour guide, has thoroughly studied the traditions, which are also his own heritage and managed to share with us an... 更多

Evan takes you on a physical, spiritual and cultural journey through the blue mountains and aboriginal dreamtime that you won't forget. I have done the walk twice now, both times were different, both enchanting. My last visit was actually 5 years ago

This experience goes beyond standard tourism and provides a brief view of aboriginal culture. We booked this adventure not knowing what to expect and found an unforgettable experience. Evan is an excellent and knowledgeable guide with a deep passion for his aboriginal heritage. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who is looking to gain a deeper understanding of the... 更多

I'm a retired 72-year-old businessman from the US who booked this walk during ideal weather conditions in April of 2015. My motive for signing up was to encounter, however indirectly, the indigenous culture of Australia. I was not disappointed. Evan is a walking time machine, able to translate an ancient culture and spiritual teaching into modern English (with an Australian... 更多

A sensitive and insightful exploration of a bush and a culture with Evan whose deep knowledge and wisdom had us mesmerised for the whole walk. The walk itself is through wonderful country, beautiful waterfalls and an incredible cave. I came out of this, back to 'civilisation' and thought.... why... why... was all that aboriginal wisdom and culture savaged so brutally?... 更多
