This offers a lot of history, with architecture to match, open on many occasions and festivals. Worth visiting the crypt and climbing the stairs to the tower. Try it out.
Attended my niece's wedding here recently. It's a beautiful building but in need of some restoration work. Appears to be well used by the local community. Centrally situated.
A good look around this old Tamworth church. The fantastic windows and structure are amazing. The ceiling splendid as with the whole experience of our visit. If your into churches this is a sure place to visit.
St Edithas Church is always worth a visit if you have the time, there is usually someone to answer any questions you may have and the peace there offers you a chance to catch up with yourself.
Well worth a visit just for the glorious windows> While the roof is not as stunning as some churches it is interesting as it is so different. Plenty of statuary and plaques to read.
Wonderful place full of ancient history. Peaceful ambiance that is hard to find. If the people of Tamworth would not let council after council sell off their heritage this wonderful church could of been the centre of a Saxon heritage centre to rival the jorvik centre
Visited the church recently for an extremely sad occasion, but the church has a wonderful presence. You can pop in any time and experience what this lovely church has to offer. Walk around, visit the book shop, go up the tower or simply go to a service everyone is welcome!
