Edwinstowe is a nice shopping area,The old fashioned cricket green is spectacular and is a place were you could imagine old fashioned summers having tea .The walk up to the cafe is a nice walk and is a place were sparrows come to the feeders. The shop has sone unusual gift ideas .A really nice place for an afternoon .
Like Edwinstowe a lot,I found romance and my partner here,so what more can I say? Have had many nights in the Swan, beware of "Weston's old Rosie" Cider if you have long journeys to make, maiden aunts visiting, clients to impress etc the following day.Lovely drink, moreish, like the old time farm ciders. Can cause loss of co-ordination somewhat.Great fish and chip shop at the top...
This village has a lot to offer, nice pubs & right next to Sherwood forest and robin hood. It has plenty of quaint little independent shops and some lovely restaurants. There is also the church where robin hood & maid marrion where said to have been married.
Beautiful village, lovely places to eat, The cake hole, is awesome, Ococo also very good, The Bistro, Launeys is the best if you feel like spoiling yourself, its a delightful restaurant, the owner Alison is so lovely and friendly ,
Edwinstowe is an attractive village, well worth a visit. It looked very pretty on the main Street.
There are a few shops including a butchers, newsagent, co-op and a pub.
Best of all, the parking was free. This meant that we visited the town 3 times during our holiday. What a great way to bring trade to the village.
