family friendly beach with good for walkers and children- great facilities with lots of food outlets
Me and my family had a walk down Tankerton beach and had a great time. The views were good and spend a good hour wandering. Its a great place to have a walk or to sit on the beach and watch the world go by.
We spent a lovely afternoon on Tankerton Beach watching the yachts racing. The beach was very clean and quiet. We later went for a stroll along the grass overlooking the beach.
Always a nice spot to sit on the grass or the stony beach. Take a swim in you're brave enough to face to the cold water :) Fantastic beach huts to wander through and see some lovely designs.
Its a great place for a relaxing stroll, to walk down the street when the tides out is a must there is great café with a good views near the castle and other cafes along the slops.
We rented a house right next to the western end of the beach. A perfect position just level with The Street. A gentle stream of other beach users or just strollers and dog walkers. We took the Grandaughter to Tankerton for the day. It was a bit windy and beware the beach is not sand. Overall I would recommend a visit if you have time.
This is a stony beach. We have never found it crowded and we love the pretty beach huts. Time spent choosing which one we like best . Looks like there are two houses to rent at the end of the prom towards Whitstable - look fab places to stay with the beach on your doorstep.
So I took my dog for a walk down the beach, and to make a long story short, I ripped my jeans saving that toddler and the diarrhoea in my shoe wasn't mine. 10/10 would visit again.
