The walk along the sea front promenade at Deal is very pleasant on a sunny day like today. The number of places you can stop off for a drink a meal or just an ice cream makes it a special place where the beach, the sea and the pier are on one side and the town is on the other.... 更多

A beach for a stroll along the promenade, of on the pebbles themselves. Lot's to see, the pier, ships in the channel, France on a clear day, fishermen, fishing boats (south of the castle) and of course, Deal Castle. Some nice cafes and ice cream parlours along the front. Well worth a stroll.
Seriously like stepping back in time. No loud music or noisy amusement arcades, just a beautiful stoney beach that goes on for miles and miles.
