A great place to walk, run, relax, picnic, watch wild horses and just have a darling day out. You can also travel round by car to see all the sights-takes about an hour
Lovely, modern building with olde worlde tuches. Plenty of parking (none in the rest of Lynhurst!) Excellent display of local history, ideas for visits, walks etc.
Passed through whilst in the new forest and stopped for a pint. The area is open to walkers, cyclists and horse riders to enjoy. There are ponies grazing in the forest that seem pretty tame as others were petting them. Beautiful walks around the various towns. Just lovely :-)
How would one describe this idyllic, peaceful, rural and beautiful place. It's a case of come and see it yourself. Its so heartwarming to see the wild horses, donkey's and cows etc roaming free and being able to experience one of the magical wonders of England. I would certainly up sticks just to be within this tranquil location!!!
Nothing is too much trouble. The lyndhurst visitor information centre is a wealth of information for those wishing to explose the New Forest and its attractions
