The museum has several lifeboats on display and we found it very interesting to see them close up. There is also a great viewing tower which tells you all about the off-shore wind farm visible from Sheringham. A good little museum worth an hour of anyone's time. Only downside - nowhere for a coffee!
We were having a stroll and came across this lovely building with no charge for the entry. After climbing the winding stairs we went into a room that had a wonderful view of the sea and the wind turbines with all the information on the walls and they had binoculars for a better view. It would appeal to all ages.
You can view the many Lifeboats , look at the collections of tools and clothing the Fishermen wore , The way they lived, the Towns History and so much more. There is a whole room dedicated to expaining the Wind Turbines that can be seen when looking out of te panoamic window.....also you can view using the telescopes provided....a short... 更多
A very well laid out compact museum. It covers most aspects of Sheringham. If you take your time expect to be there for about an hour.
