Great spot to relax by the creek and picnic. People camp,fish,hike,horse ride and even get married there it's a great spot to get away for the day or how ever long you have time for.
I grew up in the area, and I have a fondness for Beaver Creek. But with funding cuts, I assume, the park has suffered. A lot more overgrown areas than in the past.
This is a place I have visited many times. The last was with my youngest son (12). It gave us an opportunity to just relax a bit and enjoy the scenery. There are some facilities (during day time) that demonstrate a way of life when the settlement first began, but we were there in the early evening and just strolled... 更多
We go here all the time. In the area its the nicest place to go to see basically undisturbed nature. We go all the time and have picnics by the water. On holidays and weekends the place gets hectic and solitude is rare. So pick a weekday if you wanna find a space all your own for 5 minutes.. until... 更多
