We always enjoy Alum Creek reservoir and state park marina. It has so much to offer for families and friends. We take our boat and stay for days at a time. The marina has services and supplies that we need while we're there, such as gas for the boat and ice for the coolers! The partrol officers keep us safe... 更多
My wife and I visit Alum Creek often just to picnic and watch the boats and other activities. We also walk across the dam at times which can be very nice. There are lots of other opportunities for fun things to do including, camping, boating, fishing, hiking, and even frisbee golf.
We had alot of fun here during our Labor Day stay. The campground was very nice with virtually every lot offering shade and privacy. The only issue I had with our site was that the non-paved part was fairly small and we have a large tent. I did however jot down some better lots for the future. The camp staff... 更多
The feed waters of Alum Creek offers some of the best "laid back" kayaking near Columbus. For a more open water experience, Howard Road has installed a great kayak launch. However, north of that launch is another place to launch, off 521 just west of Hogback Road.. While you are required to carry your kayak for about 100 yards and... 更多
This is an excellent park with lots of activities to do when you visit. This park boasts a 18 hole disk golf course that is among the best I have been to.

The dog park is in a separate area. The office is on another road. There are no signs & the campground is poorly labeled. Hiking Trails are WHERE?... 更多
I'll admit up front... i have not camped at Alum Creek State Park, but have done most everything else. The biggest draw is that if you live in Columbus its the closest you can get to nature without vacationing. If you're passing through or need a great place to camp, walk, hike, or lay on a beach...you can be rest... 更多
We camped last weekend and the experience had it's good points and not so good points. Good - the campsite was large and nestled in the trees. The electric worked really well. Bad - The quiet hours were not enforced. We had a group of campsites around us that were up making lots of noise til well past midnight. Also... 更多
Our family discovered the Alum Creek Marina website, and thought it would be fun to rent a pontoon boat over the Fourth of July weekend. Their website stated you could rent a 22ft Pontoon boat for 6 hours for $260. However when I called the Marina they indicated it was actually $330, and their website has been outdated for over... 更多
