I lived in the arena district for 7 months but waited a bit too long to explore this section of town. There are a lot of businesses including several good restaurants to try. If you are there for whatever reason, take a couple of hours to just stroll around and get lost a bit.
This area offers many restaurants and nightlife options that are popular with all ages, but especially the 20-30 age group.
The Arena District is a great place to walk about. There are plenty of restaurants to chose from. Look for the "ruins" of Columbus Union Station.

Spent the day downtown here for business, but was surprised on how many people were walking around during lunch time! Perfect location for a lot of restaurants which are all near by!
Maybe I'm too sedate for this area, but it seemed loud and a little cheesy to me. Walking through early in the morning allowed me to look at some of the gorgeous old buildings without the crowds.
excellent bars and brewery and food - all around the immediate area. a very nice and clean area. anyone you encounter is very eager to help with directions or transit etc.
