Quite an interesting place but not a great deal to see, went on the tour, a little disappointed with this as it didn't last very long and was a bit pricey.
This was a good experience, toured guide through a cave. Lovely tour guide who was patient with the group. Firstly, a visual display of how to make ropes (as rope makers used to live in the cave) and then a tour of the rest of the cave with explanation of its history. 50 minute walk around, some low parts where... 更多
We were trying to think of something different ,as an adventure, entertaining and this place came up. My son enjoyed it as it felt like an adventure especially watching us adults almost crawling to get through the low places. Our tour guide was entertaining and the hour went over well and it was the right amount of time! This place... 更多
If you are not claustrophobic and do no mind a bit of stooping then Peak Cavern is well worth a visit. Not only do you get to see a cave but you als get to see a bit of rope making. If you visit also visit Peveril Castle then you will have been above and below the same spot on... 更多

Hubby and I waited patiently and had a good look round at the information and pictures around the waiting area. Sadly it was all... 更多
Hadn't been to the Cavern for over 60 years but still enjoyed the experience. Blue John is the rarest mineral in Britain and only found in one hill at Castleton. Our guide was a character and gave us a good insight into rope making and the mining in the cavern.
