Spent an entire day here. Would advise you to get there early as if it is a good day the car park is full by eleven. We arrived about ten and paid £9 for the full day. This is not bad considering all the toilets are free and were very clean, there is a lovely shady play play park with... 更多
Friedly Rangers, plenty to do and space to do it, I canoe and sail so have launched from here, free if you launch from the banks a smaal fee if you need the jetty.
I was abit reluctant to visit as some of the reviews were negative about this place but now I've visited in not sure why! We went with my 12 month old and 4 year old and the playground was great for them with plenty to do and there was an obstacle course for older kids and adults with a tightrope... 更多
Fell foot park is a lovely place to visit, as a couple, with friends or family. It runs along the far end of Windermere with some spectacular views. Plenty of picnic benches and tables. Good paths suitable for wheel chair users. Lovely little cafe at the water's edge. There is also a good childrens playground.
We love Fellfoot and it is great to see it up and running after the floods. Everything is open and better than ever. The children's adventure playground is great and there are loads of picnic/bbq areas to relax in. Just a ten minute drive from Bowness and parking is available at a cost unless you're a NT member. Great day... 更多
It is lovely surroundings but unfortunately is spoilt by selfish dog owners. We came across 2 separate dog owners without their dogs on leads so they foul all over ( and out of sight....Very convenient for the owners) and bound up to you!!!!. All you see is dog mess or black bags full of dog mess thrown all over.
Like all National Trust locations there's a charge for car parking.....but you can avoid that if you arrive by bicycle as we did. Stunning views and walks with the full length of Windermere laid out to the north. Even when it S busy the park is quiet and with walks on grassland paths to the south, rowing boats for hire... 更多
Lovely gently sloping gardens and pathways along the banks of Lake Windermere. Paths suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. Some slopes but mainly accessible. Cafe for drinks and areas to set up BBQ. Lovely place to relax and admire the boats and distant views.
Great walk, albeit not very big. The views along the lake were truely stunning. As with all national trusts the area is incredibly well looked after. We saw plently of swallows across the meadow, a buzzard and some baby swans. The lake itself really is a sight you have to see against the backdrop of the hills.
I have been going to fell foot park for over 40 years - in the old days you could stay there. The park has been extended recently with the fields to the south of the park being opened for access This was needed as there are a lot of people visiting it at the moment It is good if you... 更多
