I went to Fell Foot Park with my boyfriend. We rented a row boat for a hour which was a fantastic way to view the park. Time seems to stretch there and we enjoyed the time on the boat following the current. There's plenty to do in the water, you can bring your own kayaks. There's a nice cafe and... 更多
There's much to do at the NTs Fell Foot Park. I arrived around 10.00 and kids were already getting canoe and kayak instruction on the water. The car park had quite a few cars in already so many folk had disappeared into the park already. Note: there's 4G available here, something I found infrequently in Cumbria. Down at the waters... 更多
We went to Fell foot park in Sep with our 1 year and 3 month old and had a great time there. Amazing views and great location to spend time with family. Park is free but parking managed by National trust. We had a National trust membership so that was free as well.
The scenery is beautiful and the park is very well kept. We waded through the water and had a wonderful walk through the surrounding meadows. Especially worthwhile as an NT member.
This is a beautiful place. There's not much parking so I'd suggest at peak times to be there early or arrive late as its open until 7pm. We got there at 4pm. Lots of green space, good park and a lake to paddle in! People had taken inflatable boats and many kids had their wet suits on. The cafe was... 更多
We went hear as we had our own kayak and wanted somewhere safe to take our boys. we did not have to pay for parking as we are National Trust members. (you simply put your car in the window of your car) The parking was about £8 if you wanted to stay the whole day ! This seems a lot... 更多
I had never been here before, but many of my friends had been as children. Coming on the August bank holiday we planned on arriving at 9.30, and got there just as the park runners were leaving. We took inflatable canoes and ball games, and the day flew by. There was plenty of space, even though it was a glorious... 更多
This is a nice park to visit. Kids enjoyed the climbing wall and the playground. We didnt use the cafe but we visited the shop and toilets. The toilets were absolutely disgusting. Considering how much they charge for parking (£8 for the day unless you are a national trust member) i would expect decent facilities. They were rancid! Kids absolutely... 更多
We have visited many times over the last 10 years and we love it, plenty of space even on the busiest of hot days! Lovely scenery and cafe, park not as good as it used to be but my kids are older now so we didn't need it this time! We take bats and balls and a picnic, perfect day... 更多
