We had a lovely bike ride here and the leaves were glorious. It is flat, paved and well marked. Lots of interesting things along the way.
This is a great way to traverse in the peninsula. The Friendship Trail is paved and well marked, making it easy to get to locations. lack of traffic is a real bonus. Friendly residents too!
The Friendship Trail is huge. It starts in Port Colborne and ends in Fort Erie. For those who want to go all the way to Niagara-on-the-Lake by foot or bike, they can continue their trek via the Niagara Parkway. The Friendship Trail is well taken care of and it’s asphalted all the way though. Most people bike here, but some... 更多
It is a little hard to get onto the Friendship Trail in Port Colborne. We had to double back after a false start. If you start at the Seaway Park, the path is close by. Also, there is a good visitors' centre and they can point you in the right direction. Once on the trail, you will be happy with... 更多
This scenic trail wends it's way from near the Peace Bridge to Port Colborne, Ontario. The roadbed is mostly flat and nicely paved. Rest stops are accessible along the way. The town of Ridgeway makes a nice rest stop. Some crossroads are a little busy, so heed the stop signs to look for traffic. If you are lucky, you'll get... 更多
My favourite bike trail. Level, paved and all off road. Very scenic, going through rural country side. Friendly cyclists. Stop for an ice cream, just past Gasline..delicious!
Peaceful walk and absolutely lovely if you are looking for somewhere to walk and clear your head.... If you are willing to go off the main trail down the little bank to the side of the trail you can sit on the rocks next to the water.
Love this trail as it keeps you away from the traffic. Just be super careful at the street crossings. The view on the trail is pretty and there are spots with seats, wild strawberries on the sides and beautiful birds. Shady too in most areas, keeping it a bit cooler. Please use the provided garbage bins and do not litter..
Excellent trail. Flat, straight with no blind corners. Very scenic as you go through the forest and farm lands. Goes from Port Colborne to Fort Erie, passing through Ridgeway. Couple of busy streets in Ridgeway which should allow for stop signs so cyclists can cross in Ridgeway
The trees along the route and the shade was very welcome. Trail is paved and well maintained but I would not recommend it on roller skates.
