We initially came to do a tour of the distillery, but we were a little late for the tour and it was a bit pricey if you weren't a drinker. Instead, we wandered around the very picturesque grounds and went into the pub for a drink. We were pleasantly surprised to find a couple performing Celtic music. What a treat!
Thank you for your review. Our very local and talented musicians are always a treat. Happy you enjoyed them. Bertha. 更多
Stopped in for lunch today. Ate here last year and remembered enjoying it, so we thought it would be a nice place to go on a rainy day for some good food. And the food was very delicious. Everyone in our party was satisfied, and we ordered quite the variety: lobster roll, chowder, fish and chips, penne carbonara, and for... 更多

A group of 4 friends rented one of the cottages at Glenora on our recent trip to Cape Breton. We wished the second bedroom had a queen bed instead of a double, otherwise it was comfortable and served us well. One thing to be aware of, which we were not, is that you cannot walk from the cabins to the... 更多

A little disappointing ,wasn't much to see and if you missed the tour time it was a bit of await for the next one . Not much of scotch drinker but I would pass on a second taste. It is in a beautiful setting with the brook running through the place and the mountains in the back drop with the... 更多

It's situated in a nice big lot, the garden inside is very nice with a little river (I think) flowing through. Great stop if you want to buy some local liquor or just to check it out. There is accommodation and a nice restaurant in there too. The place opened in the 1990s I believe.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We appreciate it! Bertha 更多
Get the peaty single malt. Skip the sampler. The smokey, peaty single malt is the one worth tasting. Great entertainment (we had live fiddle and piano), food, service and drink. Such a nice combination!
I love our peaty whisky, also our single malt finished in Nova Scotia Ice Wine with just a drop or... 更多
went there one evening last fall with my sister and a friend from PEI. We stayed for a drink and to listen to the beautiful music (piano and guitar). Nice small crowd there eating and enjoying. It is a beautiful establishment.

Visited the distillery recently and it is amazing and very relaxing. Tried some whiskeys and had 2 desserts: blueberry pie and sticky toffee. Very tasty. Sat outside at their patio and relaxed. Highly recommended.
The patio is such a relaxing place to try some Glen Breton Whisky and our homemade desserts, especially our sticky... 更多
Second time dining at the site. First time was for dinner in the restaurant. This last time was for lunch in the pub. Live music afternoons from 1-3. I ordered the Beer Battered Fish and Chips and while I was expecting a thick batter but when it arrived I was happy to see that the batter was quite thin and... 更多

The food here is ok. Nothing special and it is a bit on the expensive side. The best thing on the menu is the guten-free chocolate quinoa cake. They do have local musicians stop in to play the fiddle now and then. It is in a beautiful location!
mmmm that chocolate brownie is my favorite! Now that the season is in full swing we have music from 1-3... 更多
