Location, parking, entrance and visitors center are all easy to find, well maintained if not new and easy to navigate. There are several different paths to take to three different locations. Each provides a different view of at least two separate falls. One gets you very close to a scenic set of falls that runs right by you. The other... 更多
My family and I went to the Boone, NC area the week after Christmas and we went to see Linville Falls. There are two locations to park. One is paved (we did not park at that location). The other is a gravel parking lot. The gravel parking lot was very small and it took a few passes to get a... 更多
We went here and the only Visitor Center open in November was the BRP Visitor Center Headquarters - none of the others along the parkway are open. All these people with photos of the trails and Linville Falls - they are not here but down the road a bit.
We took the moderate path. There are 3 routes to choose. (Easy, moderate and hard) Everyone did fine, their are many benches and spots to sit on the way up or down and the entire hike back and forth was roughly 2 miles, I believe. The views are incredible!!!

The parking situation was total chaos, and by the time we had safely parked up we were already tired. We walked to the visitor centre made use of the facilities. The whole area was... 更多

After crossing a bridge with wonderful views of the river the hike is slightly uphill, but easy. I was here in late October and the colors on the trees were beautiful. At the first stop, a view of... 更多
The area of the falls is very beautiful. The falls themselves are gorgeous. It is a bit strenuous to hike but well worth the time and effort.
Seasonally opening times. Good maps of the walks and falls. Friendly staff with useful information. Rest Rooms available in season. port-o-potties during off season..
