It was incredible how well organized it was, the quality of the items, as well as the depth and variety of things available. Great place to be and great food too.
Market has several shops and restaurants in the downtown capital area. Easy walked to from NCSU campus. Big Eds restaurant is a must particularly for breakfast.
Its not a big area by any means, but City Market is a delightful find in Raleigh. Quirky shops, interesting architecture and lots of charm. Well worth a stop.
So fresh and colorful! Take $20 cash and cook whatever you find for dinner! That's what we do. There is an infinite number of vendors and the freshest fruit and vegetables around. Go, and go often!
I love City Market. Especially at night. The whole place is lit up with twinkling lights. Now that we are parents we mostly visit Marbles, however, pre-kiddos I loved going to City Market for fun ecclectic shopping and dining.
We had toured the area with our in laws and stopped here for lunch.. The meal was excellent.. Our itinerary was planned before we got to town.. They took us here because it is one of their favorite lunch stops..
go there for awesome produce and a great variety of fruits and vegetables they have stands in front of the main entrance it totally catches your eye
City Market......sometimes with limited hours on weekends..is a great place to buy fresh fruits & veggies from local farmers. You can also find things like hoop cheese, preserves, etc. The vendors are especially friendly. Go there & support our area farmers!
