i enjoyed the traveling 1916 Flood exhibit. I found the staff to be friendly and knowledgable. The museum is small but packed with a great collection. The two historic log cabin outside are alone worth a visit. I will return.
This museum is very well done. It's quite small, and the whole thing can be done in about 30 minutes. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We visited this location to have family pictures taken with my kids. It is beautiful. Quaint old building, small outdoor ampitheatre, babbling creek with old bridge. Nice place to sit and relax and enjoy nature or let your kids splash in the creek.
We were looking for a visitors information area and saw a sign and took the exit. We literally stumbled upon the museum and fell in love. Quiet streams and old cabins and unique things to look at. Wished we had more time. A must visit. After the curvy highway roads it was a very welcomed stop.
