After having watched Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins in Hong Kong, I have looked forward to having another dolphin experience for a long time. This trip to Nags Head was so amazing. It could be close to the pretty dolphins and enjoy sea views.
I picked this becuase of the reviews and success rate. The place is easy to find and the work they do with the research of the dolphins and having an educated marine biologist on board was a nice extra. Anna was our marine biologist. She explained a lot about the dolphins. took us a while to find them but we... 更多
We went out at 10am and found ourselves in the midst of a lot of dolphins. We saw a few babies that were hanging close to their mom. There were also s few pods that were very playful. Captain John and Anna were super friendly. Well worth your time and money'
First, let me say Jess is amazing and so knowledgeable- she made the trip very interesting and her love for the dolphins showed through in all she did. They knew right where to go to find the dolphins and while they certainly gave them the space they needed, they got us close enough to give us a real show and... 更多
This was a relaxing 2 hour afternoon tour that was a nice break from the beach. Captain Carl did a great job going to where the dolphins were hanging out. His assistant Liz, who is a grad student and dolphin expert, had tons of info to share. During the times when there were no dolphins to observe, she did a... 更多
Our family of four really enjoyed this experience. Kids aged 7 and 11. Captain John made the trip quite humorous and we were super impressed with Jess who, I believe was from the local dolphin research unit, and a qualified marine biologist. The 2 hour trip was around the Roanoke Sound water area. Within 20 mins we were seeing dolphins... 更多
A must for vacationers who love sea life. They take you way out where the dolphins live and feed. We went late in the afternoon. It's roughly a 2 hour trip. Jess (the narrator) was exceptional in her descriptions and general information about the dolphins. You see them come up for air and swim together. If you want to see... 更多
Wonderful tour with Capt. John and Marine Biologist AKA first mate Jessie. Blessed with many sightings and opportunities for a photographical field day including nursery groups, younger dolphins playing and jumping while moms kept an eye on the young. Many very close to the boat for fun pictures. Very interactive for kids who assisted Jess with various ecological-environmental tests (salinity,... 更多
Captain John and first mate Jess were amazing. Jess has so much information on the dolphins and gets all the kids involved. On our day out, we saw dolphins within the first 10 minutes of leaving the docks. My 4 year old was ecstatic with the sightings (we saw a pod of around 10) and Captain John let her sit... 更多
