One of the perks of having a huge territory is sampling local wines all over the country. They're all different so you never really know what to expect. This one was small and quiet, and they offer dry or semisweet tastings: 8 tastes for $10. That's twice what most wineries charge for a tasting, but I was already there so... 更多
Our first visit to this winery was last Friday cocktail hour with some friends. All 4 of us enjoyed their wine flights of 4 red wines each. We all liked the Cabernet Franc best. If you prefer beer they serve two different beers from Fortnight Brewery in Cary. There were no other people there when we got there at 6:30... 更多
My wife and I we celebrating our 31st Wedding anniversary in the area and stopped in for a tour and tasting. To our surprise they offered grape stomping! My wife and the other ladies on the tour were ecstatic! The all were talking about Lucille Ball and the episode where she stomped grapes. She said it was on her bucket... 更多
The wife and I visited this winery in July with our son and daughter-in-law. I can't say that the staff was rude at all. On the contrary they were quite nice, and we were in absolutely no hurry. My husband and i ended up in the area on Memorial day. We love wineries so we searched to see which ones would be having something special on that day. Chatham happened to be having a special Filipino lunch and a wine tour. Geronimo was the name of the caterer and it was fabulous. He is opening a food truck... 更多
I attended a private function in the backroom. We paid extra to have the room for 2 hours. The owner was very difficult to work with, preferring email to speaking directly over the phone, and the agreed on price kept changing. (going up) We were rushed during the tasting process. An overall bad experience. North Carolina has some beautiful wineries.... 更多
Nice quaint Winery with outdoor seating. If you are looking for an outdoor view go elsewhere. Good wines and they even have board games to entertain you and your company. Ambience leaves a little to be desired.
N.C wines have held their own for a long time. But to find a winery that has "FUN" that's another story. Chatham Hill is one. we went to a tasting Yesterday, Mark was our "Educator". Full of knowledge, yet not superior in tone. educating & upbeat. wines were GREAT but he made them better. Thanks Mark Mike
