It was the worst course I have been playing in Myrtle Beach, poor fairways, green not well maintained but the layout of the course was interesting. Don't bother going there, you can do a lot better anywhere else in Myrtle Beach
I got a hot deal on golf now for this course. Glad I did because it was in terrible shape. No grass on the greens. Spray painted green. Fairways were very soft. I'm sure they are recovering from hurricane damage. Lots of trees down. Staff was very friendly but the course needs a lot of tlc.
I played Carolina Shores years ago and it was one of the finest in NC, not the case now. The layout is what I remembered, you played one hole without seeing another hole or golfers, that is the only thing that hasn't changed, the cart paths are beyond repair, not much grass on the fairways, the Staff was very nice.
Nice people working to get this course back in shape. Currently it needs a lot of work. Greens were terrible. Hardly even able to putt. Fairways uncut for what looked like several days. Too many options in the area to give these guys a second chance.
After booking times at a very good price, I was advised that the course had fallen into disrepair...an understatement. Fairways were tolerable, in spite of recent rain and "cart path only" conditions. However, the greens were virtually unplayable. Attempting to read for either line or speed was a waste of energy, to the point that we resorted simply to adding... 更多
Save your money. This course is not taken care, didn't see any grounds crew. Golf cart attendant didn't warn us that the carts had no brakes!!( Almost went out into traffic going to first hole) plexiglass held together with tape.Tee boxes horrible shape, greens even worse. Hole 9 is a Par 5 and was golf cart path only but didn't... 更多
Fairways and greens were all weeds looks like they have not been worked on in ages. I realize the amount rain they have had but I have other courses in calabash and they were okay. It appears like there has been no effort to even try to do even minimal work. Will definitely not play their again.
At the tail end of the flooding in the Carolina's we found this little gem just over the border in North Carolina. After a week of playing flooded courses in South Carolina this course was a true relief. It's a challenging course, well bunkered with plenty of water hazards to challenge all levels of golfers. The course while set among... 更多
Used GolfNow to get a very reasonable rate. We were worried about the recent rains and floods in early October. The course was well kept, a little dry on the greens. The roll of the ball when putting was extremely easy. Back nine a little more difficult as the fairways are tight. We had a fun day, I lost four... 更多
