We did not climb to blowing rock, but went to the town. It is a beautiful little town with shops and cafes. I would highly recommend a visit here.
A beautiful view, very nice employees, and a beautiful building. I felt the cost was a little steep. I also would like to see a little more in education of the area and history of Blowing Rock.
We loved the view and the groomed trail. I thought the price a bit high for the experience. The gift shop was very well stocked with interesting souvenirs.
Almost didn't stop here but so glad we did. Visited here with the kids and glad we did. The view was breathtaking and the kids loved climbing on the blowing rock. We also enjoyed the ice cream as a treat for all.
It's a short drive from Boone and some easy climbing. There are lots of neat souveneir and art shops, and the view from the top is fantastic. Just be careful on the rocks- it isn't called Blowing Rock for no reason.
Maybe I'm calloused because of all my traveling but I am not a big fan of this attraction, not really much to see. the town of Blowing Rock is a sweet little village filled with small shops and local restaurants thought and I enjoyed it the most.
Beautiful place to visit. Short trails that are easily navigated by most anyone. Even people with disabilities. The only drawback was everything in the gift shop was VERY pricey.
We were surprised that there wasn't more to this than there actually is, but the view is outstanding. Just a few short paths to walk on. Adult admission is $7, but we found a $1 off coupon in one of the readily available tourist magazines. We were there at 8:30, when it was SUPPOSED to be open, but it wasn't.... 更多
