This is a beautiful Buddhist Monestary. This place is so beautiful and peaceful. The decor is just stunning down to every tiny detail. The grounds and landscape are also very well maintained. Recommend to go for the transcendent chanting and steep in the peaceful energy of this treasure in the woods of Woodstock!
This is a must see if you don't mind driving on an incline to the top of the mountain. Very nice and informative tour. This Catholic enjoyed the history and can appreciate what these people endure.
While planning a trip to Woodstock, we saw on tripadvisor that this Monastery was right down the road from the main town and up the mountain- we came for a visit. KTDT Buddhist Monastery is located on a beautiful mountain. We drove up and saw a parking lot right near the buildings, parked and had no issues. We stopped in... 更多
This is a lovely monastery, very impressive and interesting. We were lucky to have Ingrid as our tour guide and she did a great job!

The temple is open and you will probably see some people sitting on pillows with folded legs praying at a very large gold Buda. It only takes a minute to walk around and peek inside. I would not suggest small children they... 更多
My daughter and I stopped in to see this monastery. It is small but worth the drive up the winding mountain road. I would recommend taking the free tour offered on Saturday and Sunday which we did not. I think we would have gotten a lot more out of what we were looking at. Very impressive artwork and statuary in... 更多
Definitely something to see if you've never been to a monastery. Across the street is a mountain overlook and hike. Also across the street is the Dharma path, with prayer flags. It was a new experience for us, beautiful monastery.
We drove up the Mountain from Woodstock, taking a road that was curving in many areas, that I took precaution as there were many drivers speeding down the mountain, even though these were blind spots. When we neared the top, on my left I recognized the wooden ranch-like fence with trees growing behind it. As we drove past it, we... 更多
