The reserve is perfect to spend a quiet and lovely day with the family. It's not far from Perth and it costs 12$ for car or vehicle. There are many picnic areas and bbqs, and many interesting activities, like the walks in the bush around the lake (different levels from the easy ones to the more challenging), the koalas path... 更多
As a 50 something I took 2 17 yr old visitors from Indonesia to this park. It was clean, relatively quiet, yet there where a lot of people around. The girls did the Crystal caves tour which they were enthralled by while I sat reading a book. We then visited the Koalas quite a few of which were sunning themselves... 更多
Stunning grounds and walks around the main part of the park. Great place for a picnic. The koalas were very cute and lots of kangaroos to see around the place.
The man & I got in the car on a sunny zsat morning and wanted to drive an hr somewhere to explore and relax...well we found both at Yanchep NP. $12 gets your car into the park. We had a leisurely stroll through the koala enclosure..and admired the Aboriginal art before pulling out our picnic rug and enjoying a takeaway... 更多
When you visit Yanchep national park make sure you get away from the manicured lawns, visit the koala enclosure where you will see koalas even if sleeping up the trees. . The area around the lake and tea rooms was busy with lots of people enjoying the kangaroo poo covered lawns but up by the oval we were the only... 更多
Spent a lovely morning, wandering through the park and the following the wetland trail. The lake was very low when we visited but we enjoyed walking around in the sunshine. Had a watch at the Koala's and the roo's. We had a lovely lunch on the terrace of the restaurant entertained by a little parrot who wanted to share. Love... 更多
Hadn't been to Yanchep N.P. for years (it was surrounded by bush then, not suburbs) but have now been twice in a month. The staff at the gate are friendly and informative and the entrance cost is very reasonable. ($12 per car or $6 with a concession). The picnic area near the lake is lovely - lush green lawns liberally... 更多
I really don't visit this place often enough, months go by and we decide to visit and each time I am struck by the beauty and tranquilty of the place, and say once again "Why have we left it so long to visit?". It doesn't matter how busy it is (this visit was Easter Sunday and it was VERY busy,... 更多
We were staying nearby so came here for a day out to catch some of the local wildlife. The koala walk is great as your guaranteed to see them as their up the trees were as the kangaroo just go chill out during the day in the bush when its warm. Early morning or late afternoon they come out. We... 更多
I loved the Koalas, there was a bush life craft experience going on, some wild Kangeroos, and a lovely walk made the day a great one. Including a visit to the caves, and shop/café for an ice cream.
We had close up pictures with kangaroos and koalas which was fantastic. We sat down and had a lovely dinner at a café within the park. While eating a cheeky Parrott flew down, walked on our table and helped itself to sugar. Being from a large city in England it was great to be around nature. Well worth a trip... 更多
