This beach is very long and is frequently visited in the warmer months. As we were here in winter this time, there weren't many people on the beach and the waves were way too rough to go surfing. There is still a playground up the stairs from the beach, which is a great place for kids.
Driving into the beach brought a few wows as you drove down there. And this is before you reached the beach. WA I understand more so now has great surf and magnificent beaches.
beautiful beach with great views, plenty to see and to walk around. Or just to sit and watch the waves crash is fun too. can be a windy place at times. Been here many times over the years.
Even if you do not surf this beach is a must visit. Huge rolling waves that take the surfer right across the beach. We saw seals swimming in the waves from the car park.
Busy during the summer but beautiful all the same. There is a playground and nearby places to get food and drink. A fair amount of shaded areas on the grass for a lunch stop. Beware of busy weekends and school holidays.. Parking can be a nightmare. Such a special part of the world! And worth every moment!
Went to Yallingup to do the walking trails listed on a number of websites. Sadly no one seemed to be able to direct me and signage was absent.
