We stayed on Bryher for three days and visited the southern tip and Rushy bay. There must have been eight seals playing in the bay probably sheltering from the Atlantic storms the previous night. It was still possible to hear and see the thunderous waves out to sea crashing on the rocks and small islands. Well worth a visit but...
Enjoyed a morning at rushy bay. The tide was very low so there was a great expanse of white sand with shells to collect. I had planned to return at high tide to take a swim as it felt like a safe place to go in.
Lovely beach but crowded by Scilly standards, as many as 10 other people were there with us during half term. Saw some seals and went snorkelling, good visibility but not as much interest as Great Bay on St Martins
