this is a cute little park that could have been a nice experience for our family if not for an incredibly nasty staff member that hovered over us and our every move. When my daughter dropped a waterbottle without my noticing (I certainly would have picked it up right away had I noticed) she screamed at my daughter and threatened... 更多
So this battlefield like many of the other sites nearby played a part in the Revolution. The small battlefield which is just a short walk is the sight of Mad Anthony Wayne's battle against the British to retake this fort. There is a small visitor's center with some exhibits and then you walk around the battlefield. You can also visit... 更多

This was such an interesting historic attraction! The curator of the museum is a wealth of information. If you visit in the summer on Saturday or Sunday they do a musket and canon demonstration at 3pm. This is a pretty park with a Historic Lighthouse. Nice views of the Hudson RIver and a great place for taking photos. You also get to walk around the park. Also has a museum.
When we arrived, I thought where is everybody? It was a lovely walk to the lighthouse on a hot day. You can see the Hudson river, with nice views. They have a little museum that has some games for the kids, and you can see the lens of the lighthouse. You can also purchase post cards, and make a donation.
