Village Gate is a great place to go out to. You can enjoy it in the summer and dine outdoors or in the winter in many of the great restaurant choices. So glad we have a place like it in Rochester.
I'm always surprised when I end up here for some event or another. An old factory area, it's now chock full of interesting offices and agencies. They seem to change frequently, but that's part of the adventure. Try it.
So many bars/resteraunts to eat at...but be sure to check out if black sheep theatre on the 2nd floor might have an extra ticket for a performance and make an evening of it! Parking can be tricky...huge lots...be patient...somebody will leave...
Great food loud inside the restront. They said they are moving to a larger place so it should get better. We made reservations and walked right in and sat down. Service was great.
Village Gate offers a variety of shops and restaurants for all kinds of tastes. From burgers to sushi to Mexican to coffee, you can find it all here and at an affordable price!
Pull up into a parking space and walk into this artsy place that has food and extremely interesting, out of the ordinary shops. I had my first coffee made with hot peppers there .
there was an assortment of music and singers, a choice of restaurants if you wanted something to eat or drink and the people had great conversation for a wonderful summer evening out. you could speak with the musicians because they were sitting right there with you! how great is that!
If you want to see an older building that has been transformed into shops, artist workshops, offices, stores etc. this is the place to go. Lots of fun things to see and do here.
