A place every traveler in Santiago must go to. The sunset is wonderful, the beach is beautiful and clean, the locals are welcoming. Fishermen sell their fish still alive and it is delicious!
Its a beach, there is nothing much to it. But unlike many other beaches around Santiago this one has sand. It gets deep rather quick and the waves can be heavy.
Tarrafal has 3 beaches all, easily accessible, all close to town centre. The furthest is a small golden sandy crecsent shaped beach that is bordered by rocks and is quite sheltered.
