We visited this as part of a Land Rover tour of the Island. Even having researched this before visiting we had idea of the scale of this site. The salt crater is nice place. It doesn't show how the salt is"manufactured", but you can go for a swim ( I didn't as it was too cold) I have seen it, but I don't think I will go again.
I did this on a island trip with a 4x4 land rovers its a long walk from the car park the wife has breathing problems and found it hard going down hill, I went swimming in the salt lake and floated so high on the water I had a job to get my feet back to the bottom it would... 更多
Located in an inactive volcano is this old salt mine. Have a swim, buy some salt for cooking or for body treatments, and take beautiful pictures. If you are going without guide it can be hard to find, but leave the road When you seen a white and blue church and continue to drive up behind it
