We were not impressed, it was like any other casino. I would not recommend the buffet there was little variety and the food did not taste that great especially for the price you pay. I would go to McDonalds.
This is an old style horse race track turned casino. It's nothing more then a large auditorium with lots of penny and two cent slot machines. I guess there might be other denominations, but we were so turned off by the atmosphere we practically ran out of the place. I hate to be so negative, but we drove 65 miles...
Monticello is a small casino when compared to many others. It has a small food court for sandwiches, burgers, etc. It has slots, video poker, electronic table games and a raceway. It is rarely ever packed except on weekend evenings. I prefer Monticello to the larger casinos.
Visit there when i visit family. Have gotten some really nice bonuses. The waitress Cam is very nice and makes a great ice cappucino. The area is nice and i have left at closing many times without a problem. The people you meet are friendly too.
