Innisfree Gardens is a garden which reflects one person's vision. Deliberately focusing on Japanese motifs, it also includes elements of American garden architecture. This is a garden to explore, not to walk though while reading labels stuck in flower beds (there are no labels - if you know plants, you don't need them and if you don't know plants, just... 更多
It would be very helpful to have a seasonal update of what is in bloom. You get a map that mentions areas, but what are you looking at in that area? Gardens change week by week and you really need an updated garden guide to provide information about what you are looking at. Many plants/trees in the garden are not... 更多

A 150 acre plot of carefully designed rock, water, trees, and plants in varied number of settings makes Innisfree awe inspiring. The property evokes a feeling of tranquility .... one almost forgets... 更多
While the natural site itself is probably 90% of what makes this landscape memorable, it is none-the-less an beautiful place to spend an afternoon or have a picnic experiencing the visual spectacle of this wonderful place. Well worth the price of entry ($8.00 per person on weekends), it makes for a most enjoyable walk through the landscape!
Beautiful garden to explore. New views at every turn. The garden offers many opportunities to sit and enjoy the various plantings, colors, compositions and sounds. We enjoyed the picnic facilities too.

Innisfree Gardens in Millbrook, NY is an excellent place to spend a summer day. Today my wife and I decided it would be a great way to enjoy our 5th wedding anniversary. Walking around the lake may be taxing for the not-so-mobile crowd, but it is worth the effort if you are up to it. There is a $6.00 fee,... 更多
I've heard wonderful things about Innisfree since we moved to this area 20 years ago. Finally got to visit last month. Wonderful place. Although more flowers may be in bloom certain times of the year, the landscaping and hardscaping make it enjoyable all year. We were told that the basic loop goes around the lake. However, it is nice to... 更多
I was flipping through some of photos the other day and I remembered having walked through Innisfree Gardens. Looking at the pictures reminded me how beautiful the place was. My visit was on the last day of their season in 2015. It was pretty chilly that day and there is quite a bit of walking involved if you want to... 更多
