There has not been much natural snow in a while but they did a great job on making snow. Of course there was some ice but overall the trails were great. They had ample room for us to grab a table and eat our own packed lunch and was a fun time.
The was a return visit after a decade. Honestly, we were not terribly impressed after our first experience and would not have returned if not for meeting family. This visit was more enjoyable. The mountain is medium for East Coast skiing, and the surface was a bit icy (there for New Years). Cost reasonable (we worked a discount). Service good.... 更多
I went snowtubing this past weekend with my four year old and the tubing area was extremely over-crowed (in fact they sold out tickets.) It was so packed in fact that we waited half an hour to get to the top for our first run. 30 minutes waiting during a two hour ticket was not a good start. When we... 更多
This is by far the best place i have visited till date We started from NJ in the morning and reached there 11 am. The drive itself is good a view to miss specially when you start the hill climb. As it was cold we could see the water freeze on the rocks and form beautiful crystals. Its just too... 更多
i went there around october and it was the peak of the foliage. It was so beautiful from the sky ride. I deff come back there again next year and also during the october fest.
My Husband and I took this trail off of 214 to the Fire Tower. This is not for children and is a tough climb--but worth it! The trail is well marked. I would take a look at the topography prior to starting so you are aware of what you are getting into. This is the steepest option of getting to... 更多
I was there in March and expected a much better condition to skiing. It is a small mountain with few slopes and not much parks. I heard that the snow condition this year was the worse in the past 35 years, so I would give another try. Was planning to stay there for 4 days but only skied 2 of... 更多
This is completely worth the money. We were confused between this and Poconos as both were equidistant for us. Glad we picked this, primary reason was cost. The beginners pkg (equipment rental + 90 min lessons) was $67pp here compared to $99pp at Poconos. I have been here 3 times already. TIP 1: Arrive early to enjoy more skiing. The... 更多
We visited Hunter Mountain during Octoberfest 2016 and had a great time. It has grown from the last time we went about 10 years ago. We did purchase the VIP pass which allowed us quick access to the chairlift, a T-Shirt and plastic boot with a refill of beer. The views were spectacular!! Be sure to give yourself enough time... 更多
Hunter has been my favorite ski area in the Catskills for over 40 years! You simply cannot beat the variety of terrain and some of the best Double-Black Diamond trails; not accessible by beginner and intermediate skiers. Thus, lift lines on the Z-lift are short, even on weekends. However, now that they have sold the area to Peak Resorts, changes... 更多
