It's worth a visit even if your not a horse race fan. The museum does a wonderful job of showcasing the history of harness racing with many displays. They have a wonderful gift shop and the facility is clean and well kept. The parking is on the street or in the back by the track. A very enjoyable experience for... 更多
The museum is very interesting and the gift shop is lovely. There is harness racing in the summer, especially during the Great American Weekend Fair, which is usually on the Fourth of July weekend. That has tons of great artisans and vendors and a great variety of food as well as entertainment all day. Its a great weekend. I have... 更多
I know nothing about horses or racing, but I found the museum to be extremely interesting and well laid-out. Lots of information regarding racing, equipment, jockeys, history, and more. I never knew the origination of the Hambletonian Race, nor that one horse (Hambletonian) is the root of nearly all Standardbred horses. There's a lot of interactive exhibits, and a one-of-a-kind... 更多
If horses or racing is your thing then this is a must visit place for you. It's a trip thru harness racing years and about the oldest harness track which is still used at certain times of the year. Very interesting.
First time here and was pleasantly surprised with the displays, videos and the staff. Brought back a lot of memories of when I had my horses.
What a wonderful museum! An excellent and unique resource for information and history, enjoy sitting and watching the horses train, The simulation in the museum is a must,
A great place to visit even if your not dedicated harness racing fan, Run by knowledgeable people, many interacting exhibit's to take part in, free admission, and even the gift shop is reasonably priced. Everything is in order and clean, they give you an impressive souvenir journal again free of charge.
Goshen is the Home of the Trotter. This museum catalogs and shows how harness racing has influenced horse racing. You have to go on the 3-D ride!!!
This is a fine museum that has interesting displays and interactive exhibits. I do not have a particular interest in horse racing, but this museum is so well done that I recommend you stop in and browse. Actual race track out back with stalls and horses in residence when we visited. Very nice gift shop.
