The Aurora Historical Society that tends to this historic home beautifully decorates this home at Christmas and fills it will wonderful handmade items, decorations, gifts and bake goods that helps to support the maintenance of the home of the 13th President of the US - Millard Fillmore. Come and see how a former president lived in this quaint village.
Millard Fillmore. There are four stops on the tour, and they each contain items previously owned by the former president. On the day we visited there were four docents, and they varied greatly in their presentation quality. The presentation in the front where we received our orientation to the house and and Fillmore was over-detailed and very long. The presenter... 更多
I was able to arrange a private tour on a Friday. Docent Kathy was very informative and friendly. We were able to play Millard's daughter's piano and had our picture taken with a life-sized cutout of President Fillmore. The guide directed questions towards our son as well as the adults. All-in-all, one of the most intimate and enjoyable tours we've... 更多
We, too, tried to visit... Emailed earlier in the day to see if we could get a special tour since we weren't sure we'd get there by 4:00. Didn't hear back (until the next day), so cut out other planned stops to make it in time. Posted hours were 1-4. We got there at 3:40. It was all locked up... 更多

The museum doesn't have very long hours. We went on Saturday afternoon at 3pm, and caught the absolute last tour of the day. They only have... 更多
I’m conflicted about my visit to the Millard Fillmore Home. I understand that the docents are all volunteers of the East Aurora Historical Society and they are all very nice and very hospitable they just don’t seem extremely knowledgeable about Millard Fillmore. The first 2/3rds of the tour was spent on the Fisher Price Family and some local East Aurora... 更多
We came to go through the house. I had called before we drove out I was told they were open 1-4pm and every 30 min there was a tour. We arrived at 3:27 came inside and were told they were closed! The door was open We were not even offered to take a look around. There was plenty of time... 更多
Millard Fillmore is not on anyone's list of top ten presidents. The tour of this house was unexpectedly interesting. The tour lasts an hour and the house is small. But after the tour you have a much better understanding of Fillmore's place in history. My guides (there were three) were knowledgeable and provided real insight into Fillmore. There are also... 更多
