...of all the junk they didn't know what to do with. The Ralph Edwards area was interesting, but beyond that, meh. Not worthy of the admission charge. Despite the name, there is VERY LITTLE Geronimo info/artifacts on site. They probably have enough historic artifacts to make something interesting, but they desperately need an adult to help filter out the crap.... 更多
This is a great museum of area history and folk lore. There is a lot of Indian pottery that has been found on display. This museum explains the towns name and history. If you really are not interested in the area, it is not for you. The people that work there are always friendly and informative.
For the size of this town, great. The exhibits are a good depiction of the southwest. My husband and I both enjoyed the tour and the man on duty was helpful and asked us if we had any questions. My husband asked him several and he happily gave good descriptive answers. I would go again and take family. Worth the... 更多
It's really more like walking through the garage of a really organized relative. Struck me as a gift shop that got a great deal on real estate and had rooms to fill. Pros: Probably wildly interesting to someone particularly interested in the history of the area. Slightly interesting collection of photos and period-specific clothes for the rest of us. The... 更多
Stopped in during roadtrip. Interesting museum with lots of informative stories about each piece. Man who worked there was very nice and told my kids some fun stories about artifacts. Make sure you take the time to read about each item as there are tons of interesting stories.
This was a small but very busy museum A lot of rooms with various findings from prehistoric to yesterday and the strange history of changing the town's name as a publicity stunt for a programme that I have never heard of. OK if you get to this strange place
A terrific little museum for young and old alike. Curators and administration have put together wonderful exhibits of local historical events and people. What made a lasting impression on me was how well they did on what was surely a small budget. The exhibits are easily accessible and, I think, comprehensive. Loved it---and I'm not a history buff. The other... 更多
As we travel extensively in our motorhome, we love to visit small-town museums to get a feel for the local history. This one has a large collection of a large variety of things, but no continuity or cohesiveness to it. A good revamping of the exhibits iinto some king of timeline would help.
