So, I'm a bit embarrassed that it took me so many years to experience Tinkertown. I heard it was great, but just kept letting it slide. So, when some dear friends with kiddos came to town, we decided to check it out. Sooo glad we did as it's AMAZING!!! An eclectic, funky space created by an incredible artist, it's beyond... 更多
Many of the displays are interactive. You can push a button and see things come to life. This is an amazing place with so much to look at that you can't even take it all in. The creator was formerly a circus artist. A heavenly place for a child or anyone with childlike wonder. Have you seen a bottle wall?... 更多
There is a lot of interesting things to see during your visit. With many little nooks to explore. We enjoyed looking for the random characters within a bigger story.
You may think you know what you are getting into on the way, or even midstream while visiting...BUT you just may find yourself wondering if your life is well lived when you walk through this interesting and even inspirational experience. The message in this is to live, love, and be fully alive. The people who created it certainly met that... 更多
So many little details to see. This man was amazing. So sad he passed away with Alzheimer's at a young age. Gift shop people are friendly. Definitely a high light. If you like to see things off the beaten path that are a little quirky, check it out.

My bestfriend suggested that I take my two foreign exchange "daughters" there since we were going to be driving up to Sandia Crest so they could take pictures of the city. It only cost $1 per kid, and $3.50 for me, to get in. There... 更多
Wow! A little drive up the mountain and quite an odd looking building back in the trees, but it is so well worth the trip! So much to look at and buttons to push and fun! Our grandsons, ages 10 & 11, really had a good time. There's also a sailboat in the back that you need to go visit.... 更多
Quirky little place with several miniature moving models and toy collections. Definitely not like other things you may see in a museum. It's not kept up as much as it probably was in the past, but it's still very neat to see and be sure to bring some change to get some of the machines to move and play music... 更多
Go out of your way to visit this place. It's crazy amazing. All sorts of weird stuff collected, but the best is the miniture township. There is a lifetime dedicated to making these models and setting up this collection. One of the best visits so far on Route 66.
