Quirky little place with several miniature moving models and toy collections. Definitely not like other things you may see in a museum. It's not kept up as much as it probably was in the past, but it's still very neat to see and be sure to bring some change to get some of the machines to move and play music... 更多
Go out of your way to visit this place. It's crazy amazing. All sorts of weird stuff collected, but the best is the miniture township. There is a lifetime dedicated to making these models and setting up this collection. One of the best visits so far on Route 66.
A great place to visit, no matter what the weather is. It is hidden, just off the road, with many "streets" to ramble along, as you view the interactive exhibits. It helps to keep a few quarters handy to activate the machines. Care should be taken, to ensure you don't miss all the attractions, as it is easy to do.... 更多
The most fascinating museum I have ever been to. The craftsmanship and work detail is so phenomenally amazing one dare not miss Tinkertown Museum. Bottles, bottles and more bottles one is taken back in time admiring the different historical displays, from horseshoes, car tags and tiny figurines. Put a quarter in the box and listen to the mechanical organ and... 更多
A fun little roadside stop with lots of quirky things fun for kids and adults alike. It's definitely worth a stop. But it definitely felt worn out and dated.
We stopped by this eccentric and charming museum on a trip to Santa Fe. It includes an old-fashioned town with carved figures, animation, and whimsey followed by a circus along with antique circus machines. It's all housed in a house partially made out of glass bottles...there's much more! Don't miss the art car.
Besides being in one of the most beautiful areas, this museum is a wonderful find. Do not pass it by. It has the most quirky and interesting things, and a wonderful shop. It is excellent for smaller children because there are loads of the displays that have buttons to push and make things move. Take plenty of quarters!
I picked up a brochure about the Tinkertown Museum (I had never heard of it) and decided to visit wit my daughter-in-law and three grandsons. I really didn't know what to expect was pleasantly surprised by the museum displays. The grandkids loved it! Bring quarters so you can insert them into various machines to enhance the experience. Amazing collection of... 更多
This is a unique little museum just outside of Albuquerque. The man who created these figurines/dolls did a great job, and the scenes they've got set up are pretty impressive.
This was amazing display of one man's imagination, creativity, artistic ability, and ability to share joy of life with all. What humor and childlike wonder ! Takes you back in time to a simpler idea of fun. Was touched by display of wedding cake couple toppers by handwritten note to remember why you fell in love. Is a mixture of... 更多
